Shelley Acres Team

Breeding dogs has always been a passion. Coming from a horse breeding background (GOV Oldenburg Horses). Our goal is to produce ethically bred dogs that meet the needs of their families, either working, service, or pets.

We have dogs working in scent work and we also team up with Trainers all over the province that train dogs for mobility, psych and diabetic alert. Some of our dogs take roles as therapy dogs working with adults and children as well. To ensure the best match for your needs, we also complete Volhard Testing, Working Ability Testing prior to your puppy going home. We do this during their development before their neuro pathways start to become permanent so we can see their natural ability and you can see exactly what you can build on when you get your puppy home.

Shelley Acres will always stand behind the quality of our dogs and our program. Every puppy will go home with a check up and first vaccine from our veterinarian. They'll also come with a health guarantee that covers Hips, Elbows and DNA Screening option. All of our dogs have DNA Screening and hips and elbow testing to be included in our breeding program. We now require a $100 non refundable deposit to hold your space on our wait list. This ensures that everyone gets the ethically bred puppy they truly have been waiting for.
